Peter Button

"I found the course excellent in terms of both setting an effective framework for the team and putting in place a great set of tools for me to use to get the best out of them..."

"...thanks again, this has been a truly rewarding experience."

Communicating Enthusiasm

One of Peter's favourite definitions of selling is that it's all about communicating enthusiasm. Almost 25 years ago, it was Peter's enthusiasm that enabled him to set up his own sales training business.

Today, Peter retains his enthusiasm and has added the extensive experience and knowledge that now brings consistent results.

Sales Foundations from Kalamazoo

Peter graduated as an engineer in 1978 and joined Kalamazoo Business Systems in 1983. At the time, Kalamazoo were dominant in their market of paper based business systems. Their sales training was second to none. Peter established the solid foundations of professional selling that remains entirely appropriate in 2007 and beyond.

Bridgestone Breakthrough

Bridgestone Tyres was Peter's first sales training client in 1984. At the time, most of Peter's clients were engineering and manufacturing businesses. Their sales teams were typically technical experts who preferred solving application problems rather than developing business proposals to deliver a good return on investment.

Training Sales Trainers

For some years, Peter was an associate tutor with Spearhead Training. One of Peter's particular responsibilities was the programmes for training sales trainers. This was a period when Peter trained more sales trainers than anybody else in the UK and learned a great deal himself.

Learning from the best

Over the years, Peter has had the opportunity to work with some of the very best and most effective sales people and sales managers.

All of this experience now combines with undimmed enthusiasm to make Peter a highly effective sales trainer, coach and mentor.
